However, until around the mid-Showa period, kimonos were worn as much as western clothes and were a part of daily life, and every household had a kimono at home. There are people who inherited the kimono from their mothers, grandmothers, or relatives and decided to try it on, but were not sure what to do as there seemed to be many difficult rules to follow, and those who became interested in the kimono and wanted to try it on.
