Born in Yokohama. Graduated from Meiji University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Chemistry. After working as an engineer for a food and chemical manufacturer in Tokyo, he moved to Nobeoka in 2009. His hobby of fishing led him to gradually become involved in Nobeoka's community development and tourism, and he became a member of the Nobeoka City Tourism Promotion Vision. While in school, he was interested in all things alcoholic and took courses in brewing and fermentation. After graduation, he continued his hobby of acquiring qualifications as a sake taster and wine expert, which led him to become the coordinator of the "Nobeoka Sanzo Council," which was established in May 2014 and is in charge of public relations.
