The 2020-2021 season was affected by the spread of the new coronavirus, forcing the cancellation of performances. The 2021-2022 season began amidst a new way of life that was still being established but had not yet been resolved. After a series of performances in Yokohama, Prince Ice World 2021-2022 was held on August 7 and 8 in Beppu City, the capital of Oita, Japan's largest hot spring prefecture, after a five-year absence.

*This performance was held after sufficient measures were taken to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus in accordance with the government's infection prevention guidelines.

The Prince Ice World Team's military and entertainment show, as well as performances by current and professional skaters, and a collaboration with guest artists Harami and Nobunari Oda, and sisters Marin, Nozomi, and Sarai Honda, as a program exclusive to the Oita event. In addition, BOOOST and Miki Ando, who sang the cheering song for the Prince Ice World Team, collaborated on the ice for the performance.
