Prince Ice World Team

Japan's only professional team of 24 professional figure skaters, specializing in “synchronized skating,” a form of figure skating entertainment with a history of over 40 years in which skaters work in unison. This year's show will feature new productions and dances, as well as a new showcase for the team. This time, they challenged themselves with new productions, dances, and ice taps, and presented a rich and varied program that utilized not only their teamwork, but also their individual expressive abilities. For 2019, the year of new beginnings, the program was renewed under the theme of "Brand new story" with a new composition, direction, and choreographer. From the opening of the show, the audience was reminded of PIW's acting and teamwork, as the venue combined technology such as LCD monitors and lighting with performances on the ice, and the production and choreography incorporated elements from various genres such as film, classical, opera, and pop music.
